A PASSION APPROACH
Client: A Passion Approach
Project: Social Media Campaign Package(s)
Duration: Three months across 2024 and 2026
Across 2024 and 2026, I collaborated with the social media director of A Passion Approach, an apostolic women’s ministry, to design a series of six ads for their Q1 2025 social media campaign. The campaign promoted six new book releases and required a clean, cohesive set of advertisements for Instagram and Facebook, with the primary goal of increasing awareness while establishing a reusable visual system for future promotions.
In 2026, I was asked to design a series of 7 ads for their Q3 2026 social media campaign. This campaign promoted a singular book release and also required a cohesive set of advertisements.
2025 CAMPAIGN
After collaborating closely with the social media manager to define a clear creative direction, I developed a template-based design system that maintained visual consistency across all six ads while allowing for variation in orientation and color palette to suit different platform placements.
The social media manager requested an aesthetic inspired by book review posts commonly found on Goodreads’ Instagram account. I incorporated this influence by drawing on recognizable design elements from those posts, including hand-drawn arrows used to highlight key text, flowing organic shapes, and a soft pastel color palette. The final templates were designed with mobile-first readability in mind and approved for reuse in future campaigns.
2026 CAMPAIGN
For the 2026 campaign, I again designed a template-based system to ensure visual consistency across five of the seven ads, staying true to the Goodreads aesthetic and the book’s cover art. For the final two graphics, the client wanted to use more realistic depictions of the book. To maintain consistency, I chose mockups that aligned with the overall design language of the other five graphics.
I was provided with the book’s brand packet, which included the official color palette and vector artwork used in the cover design. Using these assets, I was able to ensure that each graphic remained consistent with the book’s established design system.
