THE DREAM CONTINUES
Client: The Turning Point Church
Project: Logo Redesign & Campaign Promotion
Audience: The Turning Point Church Members
Constraints: Visibility across large-format print and digital slides, Consistent system adaptable to multiple formats, Two-week turnaround
The social media manager at The Turning Point Church in Nashville, TN, approached me to refresh the visual identity for the church’s annual March revival and building campaign. With the fundraiser approaching its final phase, the goal was to create a cleaner, more impactful logo and a cohesive set of promotional materials that could quickly engage the community. The project had a tight two-week turnaround, adding urgency to every design decision.
The logo update retained the existing sans-serif and script type pairing to preserve familiarity, while refining hierarchy, spacing, and contrast for improved legibility and emphasis. The result is a bolder, more confident mark that communicates clarity and energy while remaining recognizable to the congregation.
To maximize efficiency and consistency under the tight timeline, I developed a flexible graphic system that could be applied across multiple formats, including a hanging banner, retractable banner, slide promotions, and flyers. By establishing clear typographic hierarchy, layout rules, and visual motifs, the system ensured all materials felt cohesive while remaining easy to adapt for different sizes and applications.
This approach allowed the church to deploy all campaign materials quickly, maintaining a professional, high-impact presence across both digital and print channels during the final stretch of the fundraiser.
